Hi Andrei,

For me this statement:

“Standard layouts like FrameLayout , LinearLayout or RelativeLayout will not pass window insets to their children”

and the statement that you bring:

“the problem isn’t that the classic layouts or views don’t pass the insets further down, the problem is that they consume them”

are equal to each other. From a perspective of a child they are not getting dispatched the insets.

Would be happy to be pointed out false assumptions in the article, that can be enhanced. Couldn’t understand with your current response. Thanks.
